michael angelo groccia
interior designer

I aspire to design exceptional spaces which inspire others, provide comfort, and create a sense of wonder. I believe design in the built environment possesses the unique ability to positively influence the mood, habits, and overall wellbeing of the inhabitants. As a designer, it is my mission to remain sensitive to the intricate ways in which the spaces we inhabit can improve our lives.

I am currently studying at Kingston School of Art, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. Versed in a broad spectrum of design challenges, I am working to create sensitive solutions which carefully respond to social, environmental, and client criteria. My final year major design project involves designing a community kitchen which introduces a vital community hub within Chatham Historic Dockyards on the River Medway in Kent, UK. I look forward to completing this project and taking the next leap in my career journey.

I am passionate about design, architecture, photography, and visual arts. I am motivated and passionate about my work, and I thrive working with people as a leader and as part of a team. Balancing both logical and creative solutions, I am perceptive, highly discerning and approach projects with critical eye. I work well against deadlines, and am highly organized.
